The PC Havoc Ravens had an amazing season in 2009. They were nearly perfect with a final record of 15-1. Their only loss came from the No Fear Falcons earlier in the season but avenged their only loss in the 2009 SuperBowl. The last time the Ravens tasted the title was in 2003 and now once again in 2009. The 3-time Champ Bears crew finnally has to hand over the WMFFL Championship since taking the helm in 2006, 2007, and 2008. The PC Havoc Ravens are true veterans of the WMFFL they have had some tough losses in their years along with some impressive victories. The Ravens were led by the Offensive mastermind of Joel Torres with great support from WMFFL Offensive MVP Jose Colon. Colon had his best season ever. He accomplished 3 goals he set for himself including the WMFFL-MVP, WMFFL-Rushing Title, and WMFFL Championship. Colon and the Ravens accomplshed each one of these goals. Colon reeled in amazing numbers with 31 Passing TDs, and 16 Rushing TD's. Colon clearly did not do this alone with great blocking assignments from Victor Heredia, Joel Torres, Papo Rosado, Jojo, House, and a brutal running attack from the powerful Alex Robles. If the ground wasnt good enough they could connect with the elusive Gio Ortiz, Pedro Colon, Peter Cavette, or David Guzman. The Ravens defense was also a force to be reckoned with led by Free Safety-Lonnie Jackson. Jackson's crew on defense put a ton of pressure on all Quarterbacks in the WMFFL. With the defensive standouts of Peter Cavette, Tyson, JoJo, Fernando Rodriguez, and Gio Ortiz it makes it really difficult for any team to get a solid offense going. Thru the entire season I have heard several teams state that they are the best and they are the real WMFFL champs. The Ravens get to celebrate for the entire off-season and get to have bragging rights over everyone until November 28th 2010. The Ravens have had a remarkable journey to the top with a great battle with the Browns in Week 13, the Spring Tournement Championship with the Colts, to the battle with the No Fear Falcons on Super-Saturday.

The B-Division Superbowl was over before it started. The Cardinals crew came out firing on all cylinders. The Cardinals were able to capatilize on 2 Interceptions by Browns Veteran QB Todd Fraser. Fraser hit Cardinals Matt Blais and Nick Spencer that both took the rock to the house. WMFFL-Rookie of the Year Jeff Sullivan also had a remarkable game as he threw 1 TD for a 50 yard bomb to Seth Main. Sullivan also showcased his agility while making several Browns defenders miss and took one to the house for a 45 yard TD. The Cardinals Defense was led by AllStar candidate Jon Lafrance, Matt Blais, and Nick Spencer. The Browns could not get started on Offense as there were a few bad snaps and a few costly turnovers. Defensive standout for the Browns Dennis Ducharme showed is old skills as he reeled in 1 nice sack and a few other great flags down the field. The Browns key players could not get the motor running as M.Young, Lachance, and AllStar Selectee E.Davis were quiet all game. The Cardinals left it all on the field and showed that they have some great talent on the team. Hopefully we see both teams back next year along with the Veterans of the Browns in Dennis, Todd, and Jerry. |

The 3rd Annual All*Star went very smoothly except for the North Divisions Offense. The South was able to capatilize on every possession and errors from the North. The South was led by QB Reggie Woodard who connected with the 2009 AllStar MVP Mike Peterson from the CT Bucs crew all game. Woodard and Peterson should start their own team consisting of just the two of them. With help from the Offense line in Zeke Padilla, Jordan Miller, Eric Ashline, Haneef, and Pat Strange. WR-Mike Peterson was very explosive as he caught several passes and snagged a AllStar game record high with 3 rec TD's. Woodard was able to connect all day long and pick on the North Divisions defensive backs. South's QB Tim Klett also had a great drive down the field as he was able to utilize his expert option schemes and exploit some holes in the defensive line. The South defense was led by CT Bucs Bill Wieland who grabbed several key flags including a 50 yard Interception. Overall the game went very well. North's QB KJ Walsh was having such a good time that i overheard this exact cadence "READY, SET, "It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine Salt'n'Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine, HIKE. Overall I think everyone had a blast. Also I really enjoyed that both teams shared the same sideline. We need to make that a tradition for every Allstar game. The entire Allstar teams were on the same sidelines which made it more fun for everyone. Great game guys. The record is now 2-1. Lets see how next year turns out.
